February 05, 2016 | Ad Tech, In The News, Industry | 8 Comments

Last month, eMarketer Senior Analyst Lauren Fisher interviewed Jetpack co-founder Chris Tragos to discuss the current state of digital advertising for her US Digital Display Advertising Trends: Eight Developments to Watch For in 2016. We’re honored to be among the short list of ad tech industry leaders included, and while we’re not at liberty to share the full report, we found what wasn’t published just as interesting. We’re excited to share a few of our key takeaways from their interview in this post, including Jetpack’s POV on native ads, ad blocking and mobile advertising.

Product Update: VAST/VPAID Expands Video Capabilities

January 12, 2016 | Ad Tech, Industry | 8 Comments

According to eMarketer, video ad spending in the U.S. will approach $10B in 2016. To help Jetpack clients continue to capitalize on the rising demand for video, we’ve updated our authoring and ad serving environment to be VAST and VPAID compliant. Now, any video campaign utilizing VAST or VPAID tags can be easily integrated for playback and tracking within any Jetpack unit. Want to create a video wall, header push-down or a converging overlay using an existing video asset? Just embed a VAST or VPAID tag into the creative and the ad will play within any of our popular templates or something custom you (or we) create. Still getting up to speed on VAST and VPAID? No worries! Here's what you need to know...

October 29, 2015 | Ad Tech, Industry | 8 Comments

It’s no secret that advertisers overlook rich media in their campaigns from time to time. But we were just as surprised as the next guy to learn that only 18% of marketers choose to use rich media in any campaign, regardless of flight duration.

Office Dog

Frida is a Mexican Hairless dog. She comes to the office to nap in the sun and guard the front door.

The Mexican Hairless, a.k.a. Xoloitzcuintli (“sho-low-eets-queen-tlee”) is the oldest dog breed in North America. The hairlessness comes from a spontaneous natural mutation that happened over 2000 years ago. The breed was revered as a sacred healing dog of the Aztecs, Toletcs, and Maya.

Frida was named after the famous artist Frida Kahlo who also owned and painted this ancient breed of dog.
